• Now, we are going to split your eye lid into three parts. There is going to be an inside color :Electro Green Eye Shadow, a middle color: Electro White Eye Shadow and the outiside color: Electro Blue Eyeshadow.
• Apply the inside color first, making a vertical movement using the Shadow Brush, as if you were drawing a stripe. Leave the middle section as is (you’ve already applied the color,) then move  onto the outside section:
• Before applying the color, get some Sticky Primer on your fingers and apply it where the “blue” is going to be. Note: We are applying the Primer just to this “stripe” since we want the outside color to be dominant –the primer enriches the color.

• Get the Eye Dust out! –Medusa’s Make-up has the equivalent color of eyeshadow in eye dust pigments. Use a similar shade or same color eye dust if you have it.  Apply with your fingers on the inside (green) or outside (blue) section.
• If there is any extra dust below your eye, use a big fluffy brush to remove the loose powder.

• Cat-eye time, but a double one! You can use an eyeliner pencil or a creamy black make-up; apply it with the Angle Eyeliner Brush. Basically, what you are doing is drawing a black stroke above your eyelashes, make it thick (we are talking about 1/4″,) straight,  and try to end it parallel to the tip of your eyebrow.
• Apply eyeliner to the bottom of your eye too, connect it with the stroke you just drew.
• Swing the eyeliner a little bit farther to the side of your face… and Voila! a double Cat Eye!

• To define the eyebrows, you can use your mascara as a brush. We are using Blue Blood Medusa’s Mascara for one eye only (brow and lashes.)
• For the other eye we are using Medusa’s Black Mascara.

• To give that “zombie,” goth type of look, take your Angle Eyeliner Brush out and apply the green eyeshadow underneath your eyelids. Just a quick-y touch of color.
• Then, using the Talk Talk red lipgloss draw a small heart on top of your cheek.

• Before applying the lipgloss, apply the Sticky Primer on your lips. Pretend it is chap-stick
• Then tap on your entire lips, White Electro Eye Shadow; use your fingers.
• Close your mouth and use your TalkTalk red lipgloss. Draw a heart on top of your top and bottom lip.
• Add more White Eyeshadow with your fingers to your entire lips including the heart.
• Then, use a black eyeliner to outline the lip’s heart

– and you are done, dolly!

80s Leopard Rainbow -Wasabi & Medusa’s Make-Up tutorial

• Before applying the colors, freestyle the background shape with your fingers using the Stick it Primer. The primer helps hold the eye shadow in place throughout the day and enhance the colors.
• Then, take the Fluff Shadow Brush, and starting in the middle of your background shape, swing the brush up and down to color the area with Medusa’s Electro Eye Shadows. Repeat the process with every shade of the rainbow.

• If you don’t have an outliner you can mix in the Eye Liner Seal with Black Eye Dust. Pour a small pinch (dime size) of the liquid into a recipient or surface and then mix in with another pinch of the eye dust. Use the Angle Eyeliner Brush to contour background shape. You don’t have to outline the entire background just fade in with brush at ends.

NOTE: This new mix you’ve just created dries up quick!

• You will need the Smudge Brush and Black Eyedust to create the leopard spots. When creating the spots, tell yourself you are doing incomplete circles. Do different sizes of spots across the face. For the very tiny ones, change brushes and use the Eyeliner Brush.

• Outline the eye making a cat-eye shape. You can use the Angle Eyeliner Brush and the solution that we used before for the background outline. Color your top and bottom lid. Outlining both eye lids will give your face a more fierce look! So go for it…
• Now, for the final touch we are going to use Glitter and Medusa’s Eye Dust to highlight the spot colors. Use the equivalent color of eye dust or glitter to the eye shadow you used for the background-shape. Apply with Smudge Brush.
• To enchance contrast retouch the spots’ black otlines with a liquid eyeliner.

• Apply your favorite liquid foundation to the other section of your face. Use a sponge to tap it on. Then use your Kabuki brush and apply Healthy Body Shimmer on that portion of your face. You will see sparks flying around! Enhance your chick, by using Dangerously Liason Blush.
• Cat eye this eye too!

• Use Medusa’s Waterproof Green Envy Mascara for both eyes. Use it as a brush to define the eyebrows as well.You might want to use fake black eye lashes to enforce the dramatic look in your eyes.
• For your lips first apply the Rumors True Violet lipgloss. Then, using your fingers, apply Electro Magenta Eye Shadow on the middle portion of your lips. Blend again with lipgloss… and
• … Ta-da!

NOTES::
-Play with the sizes of your tanks, sometimes getting them a little bit bigger can give you the option to play with them, for example using them as a dress. Pair it up with a pair of leggings or tights, a belt or short-shorts and you are set.
-If your feet slides on the shoe when using stockings cut off the finger’s seam, then adapt the sock to your foot or just simply make them a footless pair of tights.
-Have fun with your stockings,  I had these pair ripped by accident, but I used the accident to my convenience and then ripped them intentionally. Who said I cant?

Terribly Girly Photography

Lisa (picture above) sat while a transformation took place –and it was not magic. Her hair started to curl up into a volumenized pin-up style, her lashes grew fiercer, her smile brightened and her waist cinched with the hug of a corset. The heels were ready, the stockings on place and the spotlight waited for her.

Lisa came in to Terribly Girly Photography studio to celebrate her birthday. She wanted TG to take some professional burlesque-style photos. These are some of the scenarios the girls from Terribly Girly deal with every day.

Working with the Terribly Girly team is like dealing with Roman gods and muses. This time, you will be the Cleopatra laying down having grapes dropped in your mouth and palm trees fanning the air for your comfort. You feel heavenly, beautiful and flawless –again, it’s not magic, it’s professionalism.

Janette, photographer and creator of Terribly Girly –a pin up and burlesque inspired photo studio, gathered a team of hot, sassy gals, all experts in their field of make-up, hair styling and wardrobe, that work together to prepare the best photo-shoot for anyone that is in need of their services.

It takes two seconds after entering her studio at Wynwood (Art District) to notice their amazing energy and the inviting atmosphere every team member welcomes you with.

Meet the girls behind Lisa’s shoot:
Virginia Le Fay will take care of your make-up and will treat you like a porcelain doll. She will color your face as if you were a sculpture enhancing your features.

Marilyn (Miss Kitty) San German takes care of your hair, adding extensions or blow-drying your bangs. I’m sure she can even do it with her eyes closed out of her expertise. All her movements are harmonious but fast, and the results are as bright as being back in the 50’s.

Lisa Martin-Owen is Janette’s photo assistant. She has a pair of extra eyes for her; she notices details that perfect the photos –an exposed seam back into place, a curl on the face that needs to be combed or a light that should be brighter on the scene.

Janette Valentine, the master of this orchestration, will direct you and actually snap a perfect picture by organizing all the pieces in the puzzle with her camera. It’s not out of luck that she gets the shot; it’s after observing and analyzing the scenario that she gets her flawless photograph.

Terribly Girly Photograph inspires you. Is not magic, it’s the reality of a group of ladies lead by a super heroine working with an invincible work ethic, a pinch of perseverance and lots of love for what they do.
