Ultra Music Festival is a planet of its own that landed on Miami this past March 26th and 27th. It brought together more than 200 DJ’s and performers, it gathered each day 100,000 spectators and it sold out of tickets both Friday and Saturday.
Attending this music event is landing on new territory, people from all over the world come to this happening. Once in, their nationality disperses and a common patriotic love towards music holds them together.
People come dress in their most precious, comfortable or not so much, but enjoyable outfits, this is the planet where everything and anything is allowed. Aficionados of this electronic music event literary wear their skin out.
Afros are not out of style, candy is jewelry, hair color glows in the dark, tummies are exposed, tutus are not only for ballerinas, matching glasses with the boy friend or girl friend is not an accident, animal prints’ main color is fuchsia, platform boots survived the mod and grass field dancing floor, and sweat is very common.
Fashion becomes a synonym of freedom, of expression, of music. Every shade of neon color is a tune, every feather is a clap, every smile comes decorated with the euphoria that dancing, singing and sharing with other 99,999 music maniacs brings out of you.
